Siding & Trim

Replacing the siding and trim can make a huge difference in the appearance of your home. You want to make sure it makes a positive difference. It ought to look better after the job’s done than it looked before. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. That’s why it pays to choose your siding contractor carefully.

If we were hiring a siding and trim contractor, the first thing we would do is check them out with the Milwaukee Better Business Bureau. Start by comparing positive, negative, and neutral reports. If there are any negative reports, how were they resolved? How quickly were they resolved? Ideally, there shouldn’t be any negative reports. Good contractors do their best to resolve issues long before customers feel compelled to complain to the Better Business Bureau.

Next, we would ask to speak to customers your contractor has worked with. You’ll want to know if the contractor used quality materials, took pride in their work, kept the job site clean, and got the job done on time and close to the original estimate. Many exterior contractors cut corners with cheap materials. There’s a huge difference between vinyl siding that’s 0.046 inches thick and 0.040 inches thick. The latter material costs less, but when the job is finished, it just looks cheap. Many siding contractors are sloppy with their installation. They cut corners. They don’t caulk well. Sloppy work tends to look worse and worse as the months go by, and you don’t need that headache.

Look for customer comments like this:

This testimonial is…heartfelt. Please express…how satisfied we are with your work and with how the house looks. We LOVE our house’s new coat! The clean, finished appearance never fails to make me smile driving up the driveway. Thanks again for everything! We’ll be your reference anytime! ~ Mike & Candy S, Waukesha

We were totally pleased with all work performed by NuWay from the very start to the very finish. We had both our extremely old roof completely replaced along with new siding installed.… The warranties can’t be beat both workmanship and materials, these guys I am sure will stand by their word! Living in the city we are sandwiched between two neighbors. Our neighbors complimented not only on the finished product but the professional mannerism of [the] entire team. We would recommend them to ANYONE! Thank You Nu Way ~ by Cindy M. on 3/7/2013

No worries when you decide on Nu-Way, Workmanship is excellent along with end result. Craig is an absolute pleasure to work with & professional from beginning to end & then some ~ Pat R., West Allis

Keep in mind that a good siding and trim contractor can improve not only your home’s appearance but also its energy efficiency. Sometime housewrap needs to be added or changed as a preliminary step in the siding process. Housewrap needs to be installed correctly to prevent damaging water penetration. Insulated siding may also be an option.

Here at Nu Way, we install both vinyl and engineered wood siding. We work with superior products such as LP Smart Siding, Prodigy Insulated Siding, and Mastic Siding. We also install quality housewrap.

As with all of our services, we provide free estimates, and we’re happy to answer any questions you might have. View our project portfolio or contact us here.
